10.26.04 - Nick Castle signs on to direct Sing Out
Director Nick Castle has signed on to direct the next Chancellor Films Picture, Sing Out. In a letter to Chancellor Films, Mr. Castle says,

"I really feel you have something great here. I’d love to direct the project. The subject matter is perfect for a high spirited, musically diverse, youth market, feel good movie. I don’t believe anyone has used the choral group setting for a film before. It has the potential of a movie like “Fame”.

Sing out, a Chancellor Films Picture is currently in pre-production and will be proceeding into the next phase shortly.

10.19.04 - Robert Marcucci wins Lifetime Achievement Award
On Tuesday, October 19, 2004, the Starlight Room of the Sportsman's Lodge was the setting for the annual Seymour Heller Awards. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Robert Marcucci of Chancellor Entertainment and the Talent Manager of the Year Award winner was Steven Nash, Owner of Arts & Letters Entertainment and President of the Talent Managers Association.

The TMA also honored distinguished individuals who respect the field of Talent Management and have displayed outstanding contributions to the profession. Casting Director of the Year was awarded to Mali Finn and the Talent Agent of the Year was awarded to Ginger Lawrence of House of Representatives. It was a truly wonderful event and was enjoyed by all of those who attended.
